Dear participant,
This survey is intended to gather information on the Home Defect Self-Assessment System (named: SQUARED) developed by a team of researchers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). This system is developed to assist homeowners in performing self-assessments on the defects found in houses. Once self-assessment is completed, homeowners should be able to generate a defect report to be submitted to the developer or for a personal record.
You are selected to participate in this study since you live in a residential area/ township that is currently developing and has a number of new residences. This survey provides an opportunity for you to address the functionality and needs for this system on how it can be improvised for public use.
For the purpose of this study, please visit the SQUARED website (http://www.squared.my) and go through the system. Instructions to use the system can be obtained here. Once you are done going through the SQUARED system, please answer the following survey.
